Transport and local journeys — detailed guide

Part of Caribbean Jazz Expo

Your place in the programme

These briefs explain how each contribution can support CJE’s overall success. They are invitations to explore an agreed role, not automatic appointments or editorial grants.

Everyone is welcome to propose a contribution. Only a representative explicitly approved by the Merchant may control wording and imagery in an assigned CJE section. An enquiry, stakeholder role or expression of interest gives no editorial access. CJE retains publication control; permissions for official statements, brands and imagery still apply.

Make the itinerary deliverable, from arrival to performance, sessions and departure.

Required services

  • Airport or port transfers, artist and crew movements and scheduled venue trips.
  • Instrument and equipment capacity, secure handling and any specialist vehicle needs.
  • Studio visits and optional destination filming trips only when scheduled and permitted.
  • Accessible transport, backup arrangements and an emergency dispatch contact.

Your quotation

Specify route, vehicle, seats, luggage capacity, licensed driver arrangements, timings, waiting allowances, night rates, taxes, cancellation and backup coverage. Separate participant-funded international travel from the local transport component of a package.

Duty of care

Confirm applicable licences, insurance, vehicle condition, safe working hours and incident procedures. Itineraries and participant contact details are restricted working information; no public artist-location tracking.

Economic participation

We seek reliable local procurement with documented delivery and agreed payment terms. A proposed supplier relationship does not guarantee volume or exclusivity. Do not undertake journeys or incur charges until an authorised order or contract is issued.
