Jazz ’n Dine — detailed guide

Part of Caribbean Jazz Expo

Your place in the programme

These briefs explain how each contribution can support CJE’s overall success. They are invitations to explore an agreed role, not automatic appointments or editorial grants.

Everyone is welcome to propose a contribution. Only a representative explicitly approved by the Merchant may control wording and imagery in an assigned CJE section. An enquiry, stakeholder role or expression of interest gives no editorial access. CJE retains publication control; permissions for official statements, brands and imagery still apply.

Build Caribbean Jazz Expo on three years of Jazz ’n Dine experience, with performance opportunity at the centre of the artist offer.

An established event, not a new experiment

Jazz ’n Dine has been running for three years. Its accumulated experience, performances and organiser knowledge help ground Caribbean Jazz Expo in actual delivery. It is a Signature Event within the Jazz ’n Creole fringe programme and a key part of the overall offer. The Expo’s added activities can be piloted around it; the event itself is not being presented as new or unproven. Its current public listing shows April 17, 2027 at Hilltop Haven; final schedules, lineup and next-edition arrangements remain subject to event-owner confirmation.

A pathway worth preparing for

The chance to perform at Jazz ’n Dine gives selected artists a setting to demonstrate their live work and build a case for consideration for the Jazz ’n Creole main stage. Where suitable, the wider development conversation may also include the World Creole Music Festival. DFC retains the programming decision; the Expo does not sell or guarantee selection.

Enhancements proposed for owner approval

  • A bounded invited-talent programme based on stage capacity, production requirements and confirmed budget.
  • Pre-arrival collaboration matching and scheduled studio or writing sessions.
  • An agreed set of live-performance and artist-story recordings.
  • An optional DFC observation and feedback arrangement, with no selection guarantee.
  • A practical hospitality and transport itinerary that supports—not distracts from—the performance.
  • Beneficiary-approved fundraising activity with a clear reporting route.
  • A defined post-event collaboration release and professional follow-up calendar.

Production readiness

Use the existing edition, programme, Show Packages, stage plots, runsheets, talent engagements, crew and broadcast authorities. Review sound checks, transitions, contingency, rights, accessible attendance and staff responsibilities. Do not create duplicate tickets, booking records or a separate financial ledger for the same event.

A truthful evidence base

The organiser has confirmed 120 tickets sold in total for the 2026 edition, including cash gate admissions without issued tickets. This is an organiser-confirmed sales statement—not a verified scan count or a claim about another edition. Future targets are planning assumptions, not guaranteed attendance.

Keep the event’s authority intact

This Expo brief does not alter the Jazz ’n Dine business, edition, prices, tickets, sponsors, bookings or media. Cross-business working access and any financial contribution require explicit agreement. Its public information needs an owner-approved editorial reconciliation before new outreach depends on it.
