Creators and ambassadors — detailed guide

Part of Caribbean Jazz Expo

Your place in the programme

These briefs explain how each contribution can support CJE’s overall success. They are invitations to explore an agreed role, not automatic appointments or editorial grants.

Everyone is welcome to propose a contribution. Only a representative explicitly approved by the Merchant may control wording and imagery in an assigned CJE section. An enquiry, stakeholder role or expression of interest gives no editorial access. CJE retains publication control; permissions for official statements, brands and imagery still apply.

Create authentic, permission-led material with explicit deliverables and honest commercial disclosure.

What a collaboration could include

  • An approved artist or destination story with a production schedule.
  • Coverage of a live performance or creative session where access is granted.
  • An agreed campaign for a confirmed event or participant opportunity.
  • A beneficiary-approved community story that preserves dignity and privacy.

Commercial terms

Agree deliverables, channels, dates, approvals, usage rights, reporting and any fee, travel support or in-kind contribution before work begins. Any affiliate or revenue-share arrangement needs an accepted exact-business agreement and explicit funding terms. This brief does not issue a commission entitlement.

Standards

Disclose paid relationships. Do not invent audience reach, use fake engagement, create synthetic endorsements or promise festival selection. Obtain consent before filming, and avoid publicising private schedules or sensitive beneficiary information.

Measure useful outcomes

Use agreed links and actual publication evidence where available. Distinguish views, enquiries, qualified opportunities and completed purchases. Your access is limited to the approved assignment, not all artist, sponsor or financial records.
